O-1B Approval for Indian Fashion Designer

We recently received an approval for O-1B status for a fashion designer from India. Congratulations to our client!

Our client was applying for O-1B status after having completed a Master degree in fashion design and was finishing her OPT period. While we received an Request for Evidence (RFE) we were able to successfully explain the evidence again as well as supplement where needed to satisfy the adjudicator that the petition was approvable. An RFE does not mean that your case will be denied and in many instances can be successfully challenged! We have noticed a rise in RFE issuance for O-1 cases and can expect this to be the norm in the future; however, the issuance of an RFE does not mean a case is not approvable and oftentimes involves clarifying information for the adjudicator.
