O-1B Approval for Japanese Fashion Designer

We recently received an approval for a 3-year extension of O-1B status for a Fashion Designer from Japan. Congratulations to our client!

Our client works full-time in a lead role as a designer at a fashion wholesaler while also working on freelance fashion design projects, both under her own label that is commissioned by stylists for shoots and for a luxury label for its yearly fashion week shows. The petition was submitted as an agent based petition in order for her to be able to take on both her full-time work and this freelance design work. It was approved without a request for evidence.

If you are a fashion designer and are considering to work in the United States in this field, or if you are currently on your OPT in fashion design and would like to change status to O-1B continue this work in the United States, don’t hesitate to reach out to me to schedule a consultation at amir@rasoulpourlaw.com.
