Spousal Immigrant Visa Approved at US Consulate in Tegucigalpa
We recently had an approval of a spousal immigrant visa at the US Consulate in Tegucigalpa for a Honduran national. Congratulations to our client!
Our client had entered the United States without inspection and lived here for several years before meeting and marrying his US citizen spouse. To cure his unlawful presence, we applied for a 601A provisional unlawful presence waiver which was eventually approved, after which our client had to return to Honduras to attend his visa interview and await visa issuance, which also took time as many cases are placed in administrative processing. While by no means an easy process to go through, ultimately everything has now been approved. He is a lawful permanent resident of the United States, with the benefits that this more stable and lawful status brings to their marital relationship.
For over a decade, I have represented binational couples going through the ever changing landscape of the US immigration laws. Don’t hesitate to reach out at amir@rasoulpourlaw.com to set up a consultation.
